The Royal Opera’s Le Nozze di Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro) is opening in select cineworld screens on 11 April. Mozart’s supernatural masterpiece about betrayal and revenge is showing up and down the UK, from Glasgow to the Isle of Wight. Check where it’s showing near you and book tickets here.

To celebrate the beginning of the Glyndebourne Festival 2010, Odeon cinemas around the UK will be showing L'elisir d'amore (The Elixir of Love), recorded live at the festival last year. For two days only, the Vue cinema chain will be showing Shakespeare’s tour de force, in association with the Globe Theatre in London. On April 26 and 27, this verbal onslaught of puns and wordplay will be coming to a cinema near you. Find out where, here.
