"Graham Vick’s riveting Glyndebourne version" (Gramophone)

"Vick’s absorbing production combines with movingly sung and acted characterisations to produce a reading that demands serious attention." (Musicweb International)

"Vick ... has created in Onegin a production of near-perfection" (The Daily Telegraph)

"Onegin received precisely the kind of staging and performance that makes Glyndebourne’s world-wide reputation." (The New York Times)

"Elena Prokina’s Tatyana, eagerly awaited, more than filled expectations ... her portrayal here had dramatic truth and intelligence: shy at first, she seemed totally possessed in the Letter Scene ... Her misery at the Larin ball was painful to see." (Opera)

"this production by Graham Vick so valuable. By stripping the non-essential decorative elements back to their bare minimum, he…brings the characters more vividly to emotional life… Prokina evolves in an entirely believable manner" (Musicweb International)
